{Real Weddings: At the Clift Hotel Chapter Two}
May 6, 2009
Each bridesmaid selected her own black gown. The bride choose to have her bridesmaids carry kissing balls of bright yellow pom pom mums instead of traditional bouquets. Nancy of Nancy Liu Chin Designs finished the balls with a teardrop crystal and black satin ribbon handle to make them more glamorous.
Before entering the ballroom, Tiffany and Sean had this beautiful created sign made so that guests could find their table easily instead of traditional place cards. We love the yellow script font printed behind the black printing names. Great idea.
The Clift Hotel's ballroom features white draped walls and white designer chairs with contrasting a black criss cross pattern. Everything was dramatically white - down to the napkins. The floral designer, NLCD, created fluffy, round, and lush arrangements of hydrangea, dahlias, roses - which were placed on top of footed glasses and surrounded with dainty votives. A CD of favorite songs acted as favors. The black chandelier motif printed on the cover was a swanky touch.
Tall arrangements were placed on top of curvy glass. NLCD added strands of crystal to the arrangement. Don't you love those chairs? After dinner, guests were invited upstairs to the Spanish Suite for dancing and conversations.
