{Invitations: A Day in May}

May 1, 2009

It's the first day of May and we can't help but feel giddy. May offers a promise of sunshine, warmth, and longer days. Oh, we love the idea of May when children are anticipating summer breaks, students are graduating and moving on, and workers are looking forward to casual Fridays. As May gets warmer, we think of ice cream, watermelons, lounge furniture, and backyard parties.

Any day in May seems filled with possibilities and perhaps that's why we've always been a fan of A Day in May Design located in San Francisco
where they specialize in letterpress wedding invitations either custom designed or part of their signature collection.

No matter what style or motif or hues, when you receive one of their invitations, that's something utterly simple, playful, delicate, whimsical, and sweetly innocent.

Guest, that's what May represents to us - innocence, hope, warmth, and definitely - playfulness.
